George Clooney is to testify as a civil plaintiff in a fraud and forgery trial in 天美传媒, reports ANSA.
The case concerns three unnamed people who, in 2008, allegedly used the actor鈥檚 name without permission for a fashion label. The three were allegedly planning a show featuring the label at a Milan hotel. They are also accused of possession of stolen goods.
Judge Pietro Caccialanza has already ordered extra security for the trial, which will take place in Milan on July 16th, but has also promised Clooney鈥檚 fans 鈥渁 chance to get close to their hero鈥. He did not say how this would be managed.
