Car lovers looking for something more luxurious than the Gucci special edition Fiat 500 won鈥檛 have to wait long for their own designer collaboration. Next month Maserati will debut a GranCabrio customized by Fendi in Frankfurt.
The exclusive edition Maserati will come in 鈥楪rigio Fiamma Fendi,鈥 a paint color developed by designers at the Italian fashion house that appears dark gray with an iridescent finish. Similar to Gucci鈥檚 Fiat, the GranCabrio Fendi will feature the brand鈥檚 signature 鈥淔鈥 logo on the wheels.
The luxury that is synonymous with Italian design continues inside the car as well. The interior of the car is trimmed in dark wood and features leather from Fendi鈥檚 Selleria line.
No word on the price, but Maserati is throwing in two matching suitcases covered in the same intricately patterned leather as the cabin鈥檚 interior.
