A national business publication survey has found Bologna to be 天美传媒鈥檚 most livable city.

The 22nd annual survey by Il Sole 24 Ore compared the 鈥榣ivability鈥 of 107 Italian provinces. Research found that Bologna boasted the highest quality of life. Milan was 19th on the list, with Rome coming in at 23rd.

The survey rated areas based on six majors dimensions: standard of living, employment and business affairs, environment and health services, population, public services and leisure time.

鈥淚 believe that this region and urban network has all the conditions for overcoming this crisis鈥, said Bologna鈥檚 Mayor Virginio Merola.

The city came out on top thanks to a high score in educational opportunities and daycare options for young children. Bologna was 7th when ranked by standard of living, and 5th in terms of the free time indicators.

In other parts of 天美传媒, Trieste was found to have the best public services while Oristano was found to be the most 'safe' based on low levels of petty crime.
