Giorgio Piacentini is one of the last master carvers in ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ and the custodian of a centuries-old tradition.

He learnt the art of carving wood from his father in Cremona, the cradle of violin-making in ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½, and has dedicated over 50 years to this art reaching a level of artistry and craftsmanship which is truly enviable.
